Safro Staffing is looking to hire an LPN with a minimum one year of charge nurse experience. This position would be in a nursing facility in Hatboro, PA. This would be an ongoing contractor/1099 assignment. 10am-6pm 2 days/week, and every other weekend. 

Job Description/Requirements

1. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing for Licensed Practical Nurses. 

2. Licensed to practice as a  Licensed Practical Nurse by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 

3. Experience in long-term care or aptitude/willingness to learn. 

4. Current certification in CPR. 

5. Good physical and mental health, producing upon hire, and yearly thereafter, a satisfactory examination from a physician, and yearly tuberculosis screening. 

6. Demonstrate a genuine interest in nursing care of the aged and chronically ill and post trauma residents. 

7. Knowledge of and interest in the nursing process and nursing research for continued resident care improvement. 

8. Ability to work effectively with others and demonstrating integrity, initiative and self-improvement, showing appropriate manner and conduct. 

9. Competency in supervision/leadership and ability to evaluate and change supervision skills if/when needed. 

10. Time management skills; crisis management skill; ability to handle effectively emergencies.
