Job Title: Dietary/Cafeteria Aide

Location: Aston, PA (about 40 minutes from Philadelphia)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dietary/Cafeteria Aide to join our client's team at a local school in Aston, PA. This part-time, contract position involves supporting the daily operations of the school cafeteria and assisting with dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and snacks in the school cafeteria.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including food storage and kitchen equipment.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of food service stations.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to students and staff.
• Support inventory management by tracking food supplies and reporting shortages.
• Assist with special dietary requirements and accommodate requests as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a food service or cafeteria setting is required.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
