ABA Technician (BHT or RBT)

Position: BHT/RBT (must have 40-hr training OR RBT certification)

SAFREST has a Behavior Technician/RBT (Community-based) role available with our client, a behavioral health organization. Technicians work directly with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in patients' homes, schools and community settings. You don’t need to be certified today - they will pay for your training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®)! If you are already a RBT, you will be hired with a pay increase!

This is a part-time W2 role with strong compensation and the potential to transition to full-time employment. This is a part-time role with a big future for career-minded people that are looking for an opportunity. Some people choose to stay in a part-time or full-time RBT position, while many choose to pursue this as a career. Our client helps you obtain the education and supervision necessary to pursue a career as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - a rewarding and fulfilling career. Our client has admin support at several locations: West Chester, Brewerytown (North Philly), Northeast Philly and Jenkintown!

Duties include:
● Travel to clients’ homes, schools or other community settings & execute treatment plans provided by clinical supervisors
● Follow programs and teaching plans
● Document therapy sessions in the electronic health record system

Qualifications
● One year experience working with children or teens
● Reliable, punctual and organized; strong work ethic
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
● No sanctions of disciplinary actions taken against one’s license/certification, if any
● No Medicaid sanctions or be excluded from Federally funded programs
● Must pass all clearances, including PA child abuse clearance, FBI fingerprinting, PA
criminal record check, Federal criminal record check, county criminal record check,
sex offender, PA driver’s license check
● Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Optional: Additional language skills in any language (Spanish, Chinese-Mandarin, Arabic, Portuguese & others)
