Overview:

Our client, a reputable cardiology practice located in Horsham, PA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Medical Assistant for a 12- to 16-week contract assignment. This role is ideal for a skilled professional looking for an opportunity to contribute to a leading cardiology team with potential for future growth. THIS IS A CLINICAL ROLE, NOT ONLY CLERICAL BASED.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform EKGs, blood pressure measurements, and other routine clinical tasks.
• Assist with stress tests and other cardiology-specific procedures.
• Manage and input patient data using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Provide exceptional patient care and support in a busy cardiology environment.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.

Requirements:

• Excellent Attendance!
• Certification: Valid Medical Assistant certification is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience with EKGs, blood pressure readings, and EMR systems is highly preferred.
• Knowledge: Proficiency in stress tests and cardiology procedures is highly preferred.
• Vaccination: Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Availability: Must be available for late shifts until 6:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with flexible availability between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm on other weekdays (Monday-Friday).
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle to Horsham, PA, is required.
• Interview: Must be able to participate in on site interviews.
