2024-2025 Special Education 9-12 Teacher  

Position Overview:  

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to student success and collaboration with faculty and families.

 Requirements:  

- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification  

- Bachelor’s degree  

- Current clearances: Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting  

- Commitment to the school’s vision and mission  

- Strong sense of accountability for student achievement  

- Professionalism in all aspects of the role  

Responsibilities:  

- Plan and prepare instruction and assessments  

- Foster a positive classroom environment with a strong culture for learning  

- Collaborate with general education teachers to support student needs  

- Modify lessons to align with IEP goals  

- Work with the Director of Student Support to design a push-in/pull-out schedule  

- Manage student behavior effectively  

- Maintain open communication with faculty, students, and families  

- Perform additional duties as assigned by School Administration

- Monday to Friday
