Job Title: Business Development Representative
Reports To: Business Development Lead
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
The Business Development Representative plays a key role in driving company growth by re-engaging former clients, identifying new opportunities, and cultivating strong relationships with referral sources. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this individual will help expand our client base and strengthen caregiver connections to increase client census.
Grow client census through strategic outreach and relationship building
Consistently meet or exceed established sales targets
Generate referrals from professional referral sources
Conduct outreach to healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics, and eldercare providers
Maintain and strengthen existing referral partnerships
Represent the company professionally within the healthcare community
Participate in and identify local marketing opportunities
Provide compassionate communication and problem resolution to clients and caregivers
Educate supports coordination organizations about our services

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems; HHAeXchange experience is a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and work collaboratively with a team
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Familiarity with the Pennsylvania Medical Assistance Program (Medicaid)
CHC (Community HealthChoices) experience is a plus
One year of recent experience in a home care or healthcare setting
Prior experience working with seniors and their families
Background in marketing or business development
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and web-based home health software
Regular sitting, typing, and use of hands
Occasional standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and reaching
Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds
Visual acuity for close work and screen usage
Standard business office setting
Moderate noise level
