Safro Staffing & Consulting is working with a Hospice Client in the Philadelphia area in need of an every-other-week Hospice On-Call Nurse.

Hospice On-Call Schedule

Schedule: Every other week

Coverage:
Mon: 5pm–Tues 8am (15 hrs)
Tues: 5pm–Wed 8am (15 hrs)
Wed: 5pm–Thurs 8am (15 hrs)
Thurs: 5pm–Fri 8am (15 hrs)
Fri 5pm–Mon 8am (63 hrs)

Total Weekly Coverage: 123 hrs
Bi-Weekly Rotation: Coverage provided every other week

Compensation:
• Routine Visit: $150 per completed visit
• Hospice Admission/SOC: $250 per completed admission
• Mileage: IRS mileage reimbursement rate from home → patient → return home

Average Weekly On-Call Activity:
• Approximately 4–6 visits/week

Responsibilities:
• Respond to patient/family calls
• Triage urgent clinical needs
• Complete visits as needed
• Coordinate with pharmacy/DME/providers
• Complete documentation and provide handoff to daytime team
